8 PM on Friday Night

In times like these, there’s no better thing to be reminisced than those lovely vesper nights. The atmosphere, the warmth, the joy that spread among others, it’s just too exquisite to be forgotten.

There’s a moment when we used to worship together and shared how God had been so good to every single one of us.

There’s a moment when we used to sing together from those bundled papers and learned few songs that we didn’t knew.

There’s a moment when we used to give testimonials about our struggles holding to our faith and glad knowing we’re not the only few.

There’s a moment when we used to rehearse the song that we were going to sing the day after and crumbled about who’s going to take the solo part.

There’s a moment when we used to eat short cakes after the worship and had a chit-chat at the same time.

There’s a moment when we used to hang up late in the church just because we found it comfortable and go home just because it was already 10 pm.

There’s a moment when we feel we’re related each other and treated each other like one big happy family.

But,

There’s a moment when the warmth grown colder, the joy fell from the limelight, the harmony faded away, and the vesper didn’t even exist anymore.

Here I found myself, alone at home, 8 pm on Friday
